Sweet and sour sauce

The other day we went to aldi’s to get a few things. On the way through we saw some egg rolls and both thought they looked like a nice quick dinner for a change. That is one thing that I never make. I never have the wraps and they are so time consuming. We decided to grab them, but then I said well we don’t have any sauce for them.. we will have to see if they have some.

*note to self.. when you are always curious and learn how to make things, sometimes that back fires on you. 🤣

Kenny said we don’t use it much, just make some. 🤦‍♀️. I told him I had no idea how to make it but if he told me how I would do it…. That’s as far as that conversation went. Once we got home I figured if we wanted sauce with it, I better figure it out. 🤓

I looked up a recipe and had to borrow some rice vinegar, but made some…. It was a success! I froze what was left in ice cube trays and we will have some for the next time!

Don’t go without because you can’t buy it. Stock your pantry with ingredients and learn to use them! You will always amaze yourself with what you can make for pennies AND the best thing…. You know EXACTLY the ingredients used in its making!
