Using a bug spray that you don’t have to worry about getting on your skin is a huge challenge.  Don’t forget that your skin is the largest organ and absorbs what ever gets on it.  I would never in good conscience spray my kids with commercial brands.  So like any other product I needed, but couldn’t find natural, I went to work researching bug deterring plants and essential oils and made one!
This spray starts by infusing mints and yarrow plants into witch hazel. pump up the power by adding essential oils of:
Lemon grass
Peppermint
Cedar-wood
Geranium
Top it off with Vegetable glycerin
