I am blessed with this treasure from my grandma. Her cookbook. Right now I have lots of eggs and milk so I looked thru her book for a custard recipe. I have made this several times over the last couple of days and we really like it. Basic ingredients, sugar, milk, eggs, salt and vanilla and bake. Cant get much more simple than that! I just baked it without the crust and topped it with whipped cream :)
