One of my new creations this winter is a Thieves moisturizing hand cleanser. I made this for my own use originally, and love it! Hand sanitizers carry so many dangers and I feel they truly do more harm than good, but you see them being slathered on all the time. From being an endocrine disrupter to affecting the thyroid. “The most common type of adverse health effects for both alcohol and non-alcohol based hand sanitizers were ocular irritation, vomiting, conjunctivitis, oral irritation, cough, and abdominal pain. Rare effects included coma, seizure, hypoglycemia, metabolic acidosis, and respiratory depression.”

Not to mention a certain level of germs are what keep your immune system strong. I do realize though that there are times it is just plain needed. I kept telling myself... “you need to come up with something”.
I set to work to come up with a formula that would not be drying to the skin and would actually moisturize BUT would carry antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.
